Here's a classic that I have yet to read - though it is on my Goodreads "to read" list, so that has to count for something. Perhaps I will conquer it next October, in time for Halloween. Which is 1 day away! It fills me with sadness. Because as you know, the countdown is what I love best of all.

Yet another item from my wish list, this book really speaks to the anything-ghost-related lover in me. And anything ghost-related is perfect for Halloween. As a side note, I know this is full on geeky of me, but what I really want is an entire bookshelf of ghost/paranormal/witch/demon/magic related books. How awesome would that be?!?

A classic! I loved this book so much as a kid - and still do. The classic scary novel. Not to mention the classic vampire novel. It's dark and gothic and Dracula himself is nothing but evil. No lost love who is fueling his horrific acts. No Gary Oldman like suave. Just darkness and blood and creepiness to the max. A definite read for your Halloween prep.
